How would you define patriarchy?
Our current social system where men hold power, e.g., in corporations, politics; decide what’s moral; and get social privileges.
How has patriarchy hurt you?
Patriarchy is a systems level thing I’ve inherited which has meant I oppress people. This obviously hurts other people more than me, but as a result I’m alienated from fellow humans.
How have you hurt people in a way influenced by patriachy?
Do fewer chores, spend less time on my appearance and get away with it, high income on average which takes money away from women (etc)
How would you define masculinity?
An unhelpful category of appearance and behaviour driven by the media.
