Does patriarchy exist?
How would you define patriarchy?
A dated system of hierarchy employed mainly by religions back in the day as a way of social conditioning and control.
How has patriarchy hurt you?
Personally it hasn’t “hurt” me, however it has been consistantly damaging to the progressing into an equal society and world. It hurts because aslong as there are people who has this belief, Liberty for all will never prevail, and true equality will be nothing but a faded illusion.
How have you hurt people in a way influenced by patriachy?
I’d like to think I haven’t. Perhaps other than the social conditioning we are mostly all inducted into. Little boys play with guns and soldiers. Little girls play with prams and dolls. And so begins the subconcious conditions and training of the roles society and the patriarchal veiws many aren’t even aware they have.
How would you define masculinity?
I would define masculinity as being brave enough to stand up for what you believe it even if others do not. Standing by your principals. Being passionate and rational. Being comfortable with who you are. Being strong when others need you. Being someone that people can trust. Someone that people can admire for the choices they have and the views they hold.
Does misandry exist?
Have you experienced gender and/or sex related prejudice?
What best describes you?
None of the above
Human Being. Same as everyone else.
