Does patriarchy exist?
How would you define patriarchy?
The social structure that favours men in almost every aspect of life.
How has patriarchy hurt you?
I have been indoctrinated to adhere to my imposed gender role, to the extent where I gave up hobbies or other things I enjoyed as it wasn’t “manly enough”.
How have you hurt people in a way influenced by patriachy?
I am certain I have been given opportunities that women have not.
How would you define masculinity?
2 defenitions might apply, Biological, and sociological. Biological masculinity is quite simply, having testicles a penis, and production testosterone as the main sex hormone. Sociological masculinity is the perception of adhering to a strict set of gender guidelines that generally promotes aggressive or competitive behaviors.
Does misandry exist?
But not nearly as prominent as chauvinism
