How would you define patriarchy?
The perpetuating position of males as having a superior role in the social hierarchy.
How has patriarchy hurt you?
It hurts society, therefore as a member of society it hurts me in every way. It also sets absurd parameters for the framing of my own identity.
How have you hurt people in a way influenced by patriachy?
Whenever I have acted as though it’s not my problem, based solely on my inability to appreciate its effect, both on myself and others.
How would you define masculinity?
A constantly changing aspect of identity, based on the experiences of identifying as male.
Does misandry exist?
Have you experienced gender and/or sex related prejudice?
I feel that society provides more opportunities for me and tolerates my deficiencies more because I am male. However, these expectations of me have also had a negative effect on my personality and self-perception.
