Does patriarchy exist?
How would you define patriarchy?
A society where most power can be found in the hands of blokes
How has patriarchy hurt you?
Only through expecting conventional standards of masculinity from me, which I know is pretty light compared to a lot of people’s experiences with it.
How have you hurt people in a way influenced by patriachy?
I don’t believe that I had done intentionally, although I am open to the possibility that I have done so in ways that I am not aware of or do not realise.
How would you define masculinity?
Behaviour that society expects to be exhibited by males.
Does misandry exist?
On an individual level yes, but not as a society wide thing and it’s definitely not as prevalent as misogyny.
Have you experienced gender and/or sex related prejudice?
Only in a way that has advantaged me
