Does patriarchy exist?
How would you define patriarchy?
Men have historically been in positions of power and that has carried forward to modern time. Society has been moulded around that, so there in gender bias baked into all aspects of life. In one word: “Sup, dude”
How has patriarchy hurt you?
Directly, it hasn’t. If anything, it’s probably made my life easier. Riding that penis wave. In directly, I’ve seen situations, especially in public (conferences, twitter chats, etc), wear friends and love ones are excluded because of it. Dismissive behaviour all the way up to straight up sexual assault. That hurts.
How have you hurt people in a way influenced by patriachy?
I must have. Though recalling specific instances is difficult. It’s usually sexual in nature: “I’d like to get with them” type thoughts settings where that isn’t a thing.
How would you define masculinity?
Stalwart? Direct? Tonka trucks.

I don’t like labels. They pigeonhole.
