Does patriarchy exist?
How would you define patriarchy?
Literally, “Rule by the father(s)”, which translates into a system of interlocking memes and memetic structures (if you will, a memetic ecosystem) that exalts wealth and maleness to the detriment of any who violate its conception of maleness and/or wealth-seeking
How has patriarchy hurt you?
I express a non-binary gender identity but feel compelled to deny the feminine parts of myself in order to function in the wider world. Those parts I cannot hide have, I believe, held me back in the world of work and in social situations due to Patriarchy’s influence.
How have you hurt people in a way influenced by patriachy?
Almost any act of violence is influenced by the patriarchy: patriarchy teaches us to put others in their place: men who step out of their box just as much as women.
How would you define masculinity?
Does misandry exist?
most people use it to talk about feminists, but patriarchy is the true source of misandry: it is the greatest hater of men there is.
Have you experienced gender and/or sex related prejudice?
What best describes you?
None of the above
