Does patriarchy exist?
How would you define patriarchy?
Whatever you feel is a predominant authorative decision-making male only presence in society.
How has patriarchy hurt you?
It has helped me enormously. But it has also hindered me a bit because many of my ideas and methodologies are perceived as being feminine.
How have you hurt people in a way influenced by patriachy?
I shudder to think. I try to consciously work against being unduly influenced by any prevailing ‘way’ but I fail every day.
How would you define masculinity?
Heterosexually male in nature. (Sorry).
Does misandry exist?
Of course it does. Just not in many people. I know two.
Have you experienced gender and/or sex related prejudice?
I lost a job once to someone and was told it was because it was important for a woman to be seen as leading a project. I agreed.
