Does patriarchy exist?
How would you define patriarchy?
A tendency for men, in men dominated areas, to think that men can, or is allowed to, do more than women and to trust, or hire, more men than women to anything that they consider important. But I think the oposite is also true. We just have a longer historical head start.
How has patriarchy hurt you?
How have you hurt people in a way influenced by patriachy?
I don’t think I have hurt anybody. Then again, I know many feminists that would disagree with me.
How would you define masculinity?
I wouldn’t. Some things are very recognizable but better left undefined if it doesn’t hurt anyone. Just like femininity.
