Does patriarchy exist?
How would you define patriarchy?
The persistent historical structure that places men, especially straight white men, as the default and dominant experience in society and protects their interests and power at the expense of other groups.
How has patriarchy hurt you?
Created many damaging internalised beliefs. Made my self worth disproportionately connected to how “manly” I can act and creates anxiety around anything from body hair to penis size to infidelity.
How have you hurt people in a way influenced by patriachy?
Struggled to understand and support women. Also reinforced the damaging ideas mentioned above to other men, something I’m still struggling to avoid.
How would you define masculinity?

Have you experienced gender and/or sex related prejudice?
My gender had only been an advantage.
What best describes you?
