How would you define patriarchy?
The combination of subconscious biases and systems of society that combine to give a leg up to people fitting some perceived ideal of humanity.
How has patriarchy hurt you?
I have dated other men, but can’t bring myself to publicly show affection for them, a large part due to some imagined fear that this would make me less of a man
How have you hurt people in a way influenced by patriachy?
My life’s littered with these times, so many times you make a “gut” decision, then later realise gut instinct is a euphemism for letting bias overrule actual thinking about a decision.
How would you define masculinity?
A combination of stoicism, stubbornness and self confidence
Does misandry exist?
Misandry doesn’t exist, but misogyny can hurt men (see: any man who wants to do something traditionally associated with women)
