Does patriarchy exist?
How would you define patriarchy?
The continuing favouring of white middle class males in society at the cost of all other groups
How has patriarchy hurt you?
I spent 34 years unaware it existed because i was benefitting from it. I feel mildly embarrassed.
How have you hurt people in a way influenced by patriachy?
I’ve benefitted from it at other’s cost. Jobs, school, in my family
How would you define masculinity?
I couldn’t. If i could I’d be a happier, more balanced man.
Does misandry exist?
In the attitudes to single fathers and gay male couples custody of children. perhaps there’s such at thing as intersectional misandry
Have you experienced gender and/or sex related prejudice?

None of the above
i would self-identify as a feminist but that’s coming from a position of privilege. i have to accept that my opinions on these matters have to, by definition, carry less weight. Even asking for help in understanding feminism can be construed as making feminism “about me”, so i keep quiet and listen and try to support where and how i can.
