Does patriarchy exist?
How would you define patriarchy?
In this country, it’s mostly imagined by some women and some men so they can rail against perceived injustice when actually it’s pretty equitable. In other countries, particularly those dominated by religion s, like may in the middle east and Africa, it’s a society dominated and controlled entirely by men with few if any women’s rights and freedoms.

It’s not particularly easy to define, and probably not that important.
