Does patriarchy exist?
How would you define patriarchy?
A society or mode of governance that is primarily male orientated.
How has patriarchy hurt you?
I don’t believe that I have been particularly hurt by a patriarchal society.
How have you hurt people in a way influenced by patriachy?
I can’t think of an examples where I have hurt people due to the influence of patriarchy.
How would you define masculinity?
Traditionally it would be described as showing strength, rational thought (not giving into “hysterics”) and even things like being the head of the household. In the modern world these traditional values are being challenged and are constantly changing to a point where a man can express feelings that may not echo the traditional standpoint on masculinity.
