Does patriarchy exist?
How would you define patriarchy?
An ingrained societal tendency to prioritise male and diminish female significance in all spheres of life.
How has patriarchy hurt you?
It has denied me some great co-workers and bosses, and helped create an environment in which it’s hard to raise children the way we want.
How have you hurt people in a way influenced by patriachy?

How would you define masculinity?
Attributes that are traditionally associated with maleness, such as dominance, assertiveness, strength, power, charisma. Does not necessarily include those attributes with negative connotations, such as violence and aggression.
Does misandry exist?
All shades of opinion doubtless exist, or they wouldn’t have been named. The question is much more how prevalent they are, and how much power those who hold them have in society.
Have you experienced gender and/or sex related prejudice?
When I had small children, it constantly surprised people how much time I spent caring for them. And I’ve experienced it vicariously through female friends and family.
What best describes you?
