Does patriarchy exist?

How would you define patriarchy?

Systemic structure that provides priveledge, power, and access to the male gender based on historical gender dynamics within society. [Race and religion also can play into this, but as this survey seems to focus on gender, I will leave my definition as is]

How has patriarchy hurt you?

How have you hurt people in a way influenced by patriachy?

By taking these opportunities, which is in my best interest to do so, I am prohibiting others who lack such priveledge. I’m given a free pass a lot of times in my life where others would not be given such lenience. I can essentially work less hard than others, and achieve more thanks to patriarchy.

How would you define masculinity?

As the male identity. This can mean a lot of different things to a lot of different people. To me, true masculinity is the balance of strength and sensitivity.

Does misandry exist?

Have you experienced gender and/or sex related prejudice?

What best describes you?

A feminist
