Does patriarchy exist?
How would you define patriarchy?
A systematic subjugation of women and womens’ rights that permeates through society on a cultural, intellectual and political level
How has patriarchy hurt you?
Directly – it hasn’t. As a man I have been afforded the privileges innately granted by patriarchy. However, as a society it hurts all of us, as it promotes inequality and division
How have you hurt people in a way influenced by patriachy?
Unwittingly and unintentionally. It’s so ubiquitous and all-pervasive that you perpetuate the system without being aware of the fact that you’re doing it
How would you define masculinity?
I wouldn’t. Archetypal definitions of it would describe assertiveness, decisiveness etc, but I think it’s ridiculous to try and pigeonhole what it is to be a man
Does misandry exist?
Why the fuck wouldn’t it? If I was a woman, I’d be pissy as hell
Have you experienced gender and/or sex related prejudice?
Only in a way that has advantaged me
What best describes you?
Apparently (according to some recent study thing) I’m a benevolent sexist
