Does patriarchy exist?
How would you define patriarchy?
A set of interconnected structures and assumptions in society that place (cisgendered, heterosexual) men as the default experience, and protect their interests while excluding others.
How has patriarchy hurt you?
The expectation that success in life will involve matching the behaviour of your male peers. Basically, a constant subtle pressure to be more of a dick.
How have you hurt people in a way influenced by patriachy?
By being a dick.
How would you define masculinity?
Punching stuff, standing on top of things, staring out to sea looking noble but troubled, maximum of one tear per cry.
Does misandry exist?
Like I’m sure individual misandrist things happen here and there but there’s no such thing as structural misandry, other than in gifs.
