Does patriarchy exist?
How would you define patriarchy?
A system that benefits men over women, one which facilitates male power being exercised over women.
How has patriarchy hurt you?
I’m an anarchist. Authority offends me all the time – and often fucks with my life. Patriarchy is one of the many symptoms of authoritarianism being acceptable, it hurts me on a daily basis.
How have you hurt people in a way influenced by patriachy?
I try not to. As a kid I probably was pretty shit at relationships, so back then I probably pressured girlfriends for sex more than I should, etc. – but I wised up pretty quick, and despite of a lack of education in that regard always knew the difference between right and wrong and the importance of consent.
How would you define masculinity?
Boy monkey stuff.
Does misandry exist?
I’ve never actually felt threatened though, but I know a lot of pissed off women, and I’m aware of the SCUM manifesto.
Have you experienced gender and/or sex related prejudice?
What best describes you?
