Does patriarchy exist?
How would you define patriarchy?
A tradition of guys helping guys compounding over generationd into something much worse. Like an old boys club but much older and much worse
How has patriarchy hurt you?
I was pretty effeminate as a kid, I’m bisexual. I got into fights because of it a lot, guys and girls.
How have you hurt people in a way influenced by patriachy?
No idea. I used to be one of those “what about us meeennnn” kind of guys and I’m sure my shitty attitude didn’t help anyone.
How would you define masculinity?
For me it’s all about responsibility, honesty and being considerate. Like that’s the romantic ideal of a man. But it’s usually about acting tough and holding on to your pride to the point of harming yourself or others
