Does patriarchy exist?
How would you define patriarchy?
Men having preferential treatment in everyday life caused by social norms set by previous generations.
How has patriarchy hurt you?
As a man, I do not believe I have ever been hurt by patriarchy.
How have you hurt people in a way influenced by patriachy?
I don’t believe I have ever done so consciously, but I imagine I have at some point succeeded in a job interview where another, possibly female applicant was just as suitable if not more so.
How would you define masculinity?
With great difficulty. Emotional strength, to act as the provider in a group.
Does misandry exist?
But in such a small way, and at the very fringes of society that it hasn’t had any negative effect on my personal experience.
