Does patriarchy exist?
How would you define patriarchy?
The structure in society that limits people (predominantly women) by projecting expectations onto them and exerting societal gender-based oppression.
How has patriarchy hurt you?
In my formative years I was under pressure to meet certain masculine standards (sporting prowess, body-type, sexuality etc) which had a negative effect on my character until my mid-twenties.
How have you hurt people in a way influenced by patriachy?
As a reformed shitlord, I was guilty of making private sexist/homophobic/racist jokes with friends promulgating harmful stereotypes.
How would you define masculinity?
The diverse ways in which self-identifying men (independent of biology) express themselves through their gender.
Does misandry exist?
There is no structural oppression of men by women.
